In this article, we are bringing some knowledge about Dabu printing. Dabu or mud resistance printing is mainly from Udaipur and practised by Akola a craft cluster from the region. In this printing process, mud is used for printing, hence the name mud resistance printing.
Although, products made of Dabu style were developed due to their strong demand in the local market, but nowadays the demand of this product is also in the international markets. Some of the popular styles from this product are Odhani, Skirts, Ghaghra, Dupattas and many more.
